The service call is quoted before dispatch, plus the cost of the fuel itself. You hear both numbers on the phone before anyone is dispatched.

How much fuel do you bring?

The assigned operator quotes the fuel they can bring. That is usually enough to reach a station. Filling a vehicle from jerry cans is slow, and you don't want to be doing it on an expressway shoulder once you can make it to a real pump.

Do you bring diesel or premium?

Ask when you call. Tell us gasoline, diesel or premium. We match an operator who can quote that fuel before they roll. We don't set a brand inventory of fuel types.

What if I am on the freeway?

Stay in the vehicle with seatbelts fastened and hazards on. Tell us your closest exit number, the highway and your direction of travel. Operators in this metro take those shoulder calls on the Kennedy, the Dan Ryan, the Stevenson and the Tri-State. IDOT's Emergency Traffic Patrol may also stop by, and that's normal.

What if my EV ran out of charge - do you bring electricity?

No. There is no equivalent of a portable charger that can give an EV meaningful range in a few minutes on the side of the road, the physics are different. If your EV is out of charge, the right move is a flatbed to a charging station you name. We line up that flatbed and quote it separately before dispatch.

Do I have to be AAA to call for fuel delivery?

No. Quick Tow Chicago is pay-per-call, no membership fee, no waiting for enrollment, no need to be a AAA member. If you have AAA roadside, call them first and ask whether they'll reimburse. Quick Tow Chicago doesn't have a confirmed club affiliation. If you don't have a membership, call us direct.
